Product Description

When Dahon released the widely popular Mu Uno folding bike they found that the simple one-speed design was widely popular with urban commuters. It's simple, lightweight, and even looks cool. The Dahon Speed Uno folding bike is a newer, simpler design that is even more affordable. At 24-Pound, the Speed Uno folding bike is one of Dahon's lightest bikes. One of the reasons for this is the single speed with a rear coaster brake. Just like the bike you had when you were a kid, pedal backward to stop the bike with a skid. Folding and unfolding has never been easier or more secure! Dahon's DoubleLok means that every latch has a secondary lock for maximum safety, which also serves as a reminder to make sure the latch is properly secured before riding. And thanks to Dahon's simple and ingenious magnetic latching system that holds the bike neatly together when folded, when you lift or carry this bike it stays together in one neat package. You'll really appreciate this when you're carrying it upstairs, running to catch a bus or lifting the bike into a car trunk. Without brake cables and shifter cables, this bike touts the utmost simplicity. There is practically nothing to adjust or maintain, so for a flat commute, it's a great option. For this price, you won't find another folding bike that's worth riding. Customers can mail in their warranty registration card to: please refer to www.dahonbikes.com.

At the heart of the Kabuto you-Feetll find a strong hand crafted steel frame with horizontal dropouts that can handle the abuse of the big city. City riders told us that they didn-Feett need derailleur-Feets so we listened and outfitted the Kabuto with a flip flop bug so you can run it as a fixed gear or in standard freewheel single speed mode without having to worry about adjustments to temperamental components. The 32 hole alloy wheels roll on loud Kenda 700 x 32 tires that are capable of withstanding less than perfect roads. Front and rear alloy side pull brakes round out this spectacular model.

Diamondback 2013 Recoil Pro 29er Full Suspension Mountain Bike with 29-Inch Wheels

What is a Recoil? The dictionary defines recoil as “to spring or come back; react.” The Diamondback Recoil takes that definition to heart. Whether it is flying down the wide open trail or making its way through twisty tight single track, the Recoil Comp will react to what is under its tires and then spring back and be ready to take on what comes next. What’s next?: 29 inch wheels. The larger diameter wheel is taking over, and with good reason. The Recoil Pro 29 is the perfect beginner bike for those just getting into aggressive riding or those who are looking for an entry level full suspension rig. It was built with a solid platform in mind and is fully upgradeable should you so choose to step up your component package to the next level. The foundation for this is firmly laid with an all-new 6061 T-6 Aluminum Trail frame sporting 4" of travel via the RockShox Monarch R air rear shock (more on this later). The frame uses a machine formed top tube and a butted and formed down tube sharing tubing from our nicer Sortie series. It uses a sealed cartridge bearing pivot and is built around an optimized single pivot design which is the simplest type of rear suspension because there are few moving parts. It consists of a pivot just above the bottom bracket, slightly up on the down tube and a single swingarm to the rear axle. Being that the rear triangle directly attaches to the rear shock, the shock has a more linear spring rate and offers good small bump compliance. Larger wheels are not the only improvement made to the 2013 Diamondback Recoil Pro 29. We’ve added a RockShox Monarch R air rear shock to compliment the Rock Shox Recon Silver 29 fork. This fork features rebound dampening adjust and a turnkey lock out. The lockout allows the rider to limit the travel to enhance your climbing experience. The Shimano SL-M430 Rapidfire 9-speed shifters control an Alivio front and an Deore rear derailleur. Combined with and the HG30 9-spd Cassette (11-32t) combined with the Shimano FCM-521 9-spd Octalink crankset ( 22/32/44t) give you 24 mountain crushing gears to choose from. The Hayes HMX-5 mechanical disc brakes with 6" rotors will provide all of the breaking power that you’ll need and the Weinmann SL-7 M-Series Doublewall wheelset will provide a tough and stable platform for your bike to roll over whatever dares get in your path. Diamondbacks signature alloy AL6061 Ahead stem and SL318b oversized Mid Rise handlebar create the perfect cockpit while the SL309p Alloy Micro Adjust 30.9mm post and WTB VOLT Comp saddle ensure that you can pedal all day long. The 2013 Recoil Pro 29 comes in black/blue and is available is sizes: SM (16"), MD (18"), LG (20")

The Diamondback Overdrive is a mountain bike which features: A high quality, lightweight aluminum frame. 29" wheels for getting over obstacles easier. •A suspension fork and disc brakes for a more comfortable ride and superior stopping power. Key features of the Diamondback Overdrive:
29" Wheels: Obstacle Roll Over – Larger wheels decrease your angle of attack meaning the wheels roll over trail obstacles with less impact, reducing fatigue and smoothing out the trail. Bigger wheel = smaller obstacle. Momentum – A larger wheel diameter means better momentum once rolling and faster rolling over obstacles and open terrain. Surface Contact – 29"wheels are less prone to sinking in soft material such as sand and mud due to the larger contact patch causing lower ground pressure. The longer contact patch increases cornering and straight line traction. Stability – The relative position of the bottom bracket/cranks to the axles in the wheels also means that your relative center of gravity is lower. This results in a feeling of riding "in" the bike rather than on top of it. Tire Clearance – with more tire choices than any platform, the 29"wheel easily accommodates off road as well as commuting tires.
Frame: The Overdrive features a butted 6061-T6 aluminum frame. 6061 aluminum is airplane grade aluminum while T6 refers to a heat treating process that creates extra strength in the metal. The butting process lets the thickness of the frame tubes be varied; putting more material at stress points for added strength, and less material at non-stress points for weight savings. The final result is a sturdy frame that weighs less than steel and many other aluminum frames on the market. Less weight means it takes less energy to move the bike.
Fork: Suspension forks compresses over bumps to help absorb shock meaning less jarring and body stress to the rider and resulting in less arm fatigue while riding. When it comes to shock absorption the Suntour 100mm/4” travel fork found on the Overdrive will give you enough compression for getting over roots, rocks, and pesky potholes in comfort.
Mechanical Disc Brakes: Mechanical disc brakes have better stopping power than rim brakes in a wide range of conditions, especially the wet and mud.
24-speed Drivetrain: With 3 chainrings to choose from on the crank (front) and 8 cogs to choose from on the cassette (back) you get to choose from 24 different gear combinations in order to get you where you need to go. The 2013 Overdrive a fantastic entry level hardtail 29er for those looking for a great balance between value and performance.
